2015’s Head West

The boys headed west to Hamilton Palace Showgrounds to take part in the Blantyre Soccer Academy festival of football.

Playing a mix of new teams it was a complete unknown for us and a great challenge.

Ayr Bosswell (3-0) and Rossvale (8-1) gave us a comfortable start on a rock solid grass surface, but the last three games would prove a trickier experience for the team.

Inspire Academy (3-3), Scotland Boys Club (0-0) and Mill United (1-0) meant the lads went back over to Edinburgh undefeated.

First match at 9am and finishing at 2pm was a real tough outing for the boys, but they worked hard and deserved to come away kings of the 2015s!

Two more games left this week with Preston visiting on Wednesday and then a final match v Dalkeith on Sunday before a well deserved break.
