Currie Fc in Barcelona

An exciting adventure has started for ten of our 2015 boys as we headed to Barcelona to take part in the Football Cup Barcelona.

We all landed yesterday and took a tour of the current home of Barcelona, Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys. Also the home of the 1992 Olympic Games, a great chance for the boys to take in some culture!!!

First thing this morning we surprised the boys with a Barca kit with their own names and numbers on the back before heading to the (currently being renovated) Nou Camp where Fc Barcelona will return home once works have been completed.

The boys visited the museum and seen the numerous European Cups and La Ligas on display as well as the Messi displays with golden boots and ballon d’or.

No boys trip is complete without a Mcd’s and a look in the local Barca shop to buy flags galore.

The locals loved the singing and flag waving as they rooted their horns when driving past!

Hope no one was having a lie in 😂

On the bus now to our accommodation for the next three nights, Cambrils Park Resort to prepare for the start of the tournament early tomorrow morning.
